Buhaya Trekking Safaris

Our Story

Born in the shadow of these mountains

Buhaya Trekking Safaris is a Tanzanian, family-run outfit built on local knowledge and genuine hospitality.

Who we are

A safari company with roots, not franchises

We grew up between Lake Victoria and the Serengeti plains. What began as guiding friends of friends became a company of drivers, chefs, trackers and planners who all call Tanzania home. We keep our fleet small, our departures private and our itineraries flexible, because wildlife does not read schedules.

Every journey we sell pays park fees, community levies and guide wages transparently. You will always know where your money goes.
