About this experience
Between June and October the migration reaches the Mara River in Northern Serengeti, where herds gather on the banks before crossing through crocodile-filled water. Our migration safaris base you in the north for the crossings and in the central Serengeti for predator action, finishing with the Ngorongoro Crater. Crossings depend on rainfall and natural herd movement, so we plan around the most likely window rather than a guaranteed date.
